In an amiable function held at Biswa Bangla Convention Centre, Newtown, Kolkata, His Excellency former President of India Hon’ble Shri Ram Nath Kovind Ji, and His Excellency former and first President of Nepal Hon’ble Dr. Ram Baran Yadav Ji jointly presented the award to Dr Anuj Singhal, Secretary, Swami Vivekanand Health Mission (SVHM) Society who received this eminent accolade on behalf of Society. The illustrious award given by Association of Community Ophthalmologists of India (ACOIN) during the Silver Jubilee Celebration of Association of Community Ophthalmologists of India & International Assembly of Community Ophthalmologists at Kolkata on 25th September 2026 warrants a well-deserved recognition for the notable work done by SVHM Society in the field of community eye health services. The event held from 24th - 27th September, 2026 was attended by Dr Anuj Singhal, Secretary SVHM Society, Dr Tarashree Singhal, Executive Director, Dharmawala Hospital, Dr Deepak, Chief Project Director, Mrs. Swati Nair, Chief HR Officer, Mr. Ranjeet Singh, AGM, Mrs. Jyoti Gaur, Community Eye Supervisor and Optometrists Mr. Rahul and Ms. Ritika all from Dharmawala hospital. The award signifies another glorious chapter in the luminous history of SVHM Society.
